MMU Cheerleading teaches people dance, stunts and gymnastics, no experience needed. It's a fun way to keep fit, and we work hard and play even harder outside of training sessions.

The squad is made up of both male and female members; we train twice a week, working on routines to bring to national competitions such as BCA, Future Cheer and UKCA. So come along and get cheering with the MMU Cheshire Cheerleaders!

Training Times

Tuesday: 18:30 - 20:30 (Crewe Old Gym)

Thursday; 18:30 - 20:30 (Crewe Old Gym)

We have team appointed coaches. One coach and one stunt captain. Beanie Powel is our coach, who assist in creating a routine and teaching gymnastics, jumps, and dance.

Kathryn Simms is our stunt captain to create the stunts for the routine and who will help Beanie in making the Cheer routine for competitions. They have training through the professional BCA level 1-2 and are certified cheer coaches.

Our club has many social activities, including get together before the SU night on Wednesday. we also have Christmas parties and end of year parties. We also like to get involved with other sport clubs as well such as Men’s Rugby, Football, and Softball. Our team also do Cheer-a-thon to raise money either for our competitions or a well know charity.
