Here at the Poetry Society we encourage all of the above and provide an opportunity to meet lovely like-minded people who are ready to support you and your creative work and, most importantly - have fun!

We provide:

• Regular socials in an inclusive environment
• Open-mic nights to perform spoken word poetry to an audience
• Regular workshops for those who want to share their creative work to receive encouraging and confidence-building feedback
• Termly guest speaker events to inspire and guide us through writing and performing poetry
• Regular trips to events and places of inspiration
