We are thrilled to announce the winning design of our Pride poster competition.

Members of the LGBT+ Society committee ranked the designs (a bit like Eurovision except nobody was getting nil points), and the one with the highest total was this design, which was described as “fun and colourful, and unique” and also reflects “the diversity of Pride”.

Congratulations to Scot Hornby on his beautiful design, and thanks to all the other entrants for submitting some wonderfully creative posters.

Keep your eyes on our Twitter, where we will be displaying the designs and sharing all the lovely comments the society made about each one.

Check out our line-up of events taking place in the run up to Pride - there is plenty to get involved with!

Manchester Pride runs from 25 August across the whole weekend, and is all about coming together and celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of our city.  Lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans* students, as well as students of all sexual orientation or gender, can get involved.
