Become an Agent of Change

Details Hide[-]

‘Agents of Change’ is a program to help students or recent graduates raise funds to support Irise’s work with marginalised women and girls in the UK and East Africa whilst developing key skills for a career in the third sector.

The program will run for 6-months and includes 6 training days with follow-up activities designed to fit around studies or employment. Participants are expected to raise at least £1,500 for Irise during their 6-month involvement in the program. Alongside spending 1-2 hours a week working on their project in addition to the training days.

All participants will be supported and guided by Irise International’s UK team as this is intended to be a collaborative process whereby participants are welcome to share their ideas, trial new activities and events whilst developing essential skills along the way.

At the end of the program participants receive a certificate recording their success. Places are very limited and notes are kept on each course participant so potential employers are also able to approach Irise for a more detailed reference as part of job applications.
