If you have an idea, or feel strongly that there is something you want to change within the student community or on a larger scale ¬– we're here to help.
The first step is to submit an idea through the form below – include as much detail as you can. Our Campaigns Cooridnator will get in touch to meet with you, discuss the idea and work out an action plan with a timescale which works for you.
For bigger projects, The Union can help you to draw up a budget for your campaign, and you can bid for funds from our £3000 Student Change Fund – money specifically allocated to support student-led projects. Our elected Student Officers decide whether to approve your bid – and may even be able to help to publicise what you’re doing. We also have some free to use resources such as banner making material and paint, which are available to all of our change makers.
We will use your email to be in touch about your idea and organise an initial meeting to get the ball rolling. In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the information supplied in this form will be stored securely by the Students’ Union- you can request to stop contact at any time and we will check that you are happy for us to retain your contact details at the end of each academic year.
