We’re still here to support you with whatever you need, but some services might be a little different to usual. See the latest info before planning your visit.
Course Reps are students who volunteer to represent other students. They are a bridge between the University and The Union, and make sure the standard of education remains high.
If you're a Course Rep, click below to give us your feedback so that we can be sure we’re talking to the University about the right things. Everything you tell us supports us in representing you and every other student at Manchester Met.
You need to register through with the form below, so you can receive important information from us and get your certificate at the end of the year – it only takes a few minutes. Once you've registered, please let your programme leader or supervisor know that you're a Course Rep. Once staff at the University know, they will invite you to committee meetings.
To find out all you need to know about being a Course Rep, please sign up to a training session. If you're brand new to the role, go to an Induction session to learn all you need to know about being a Course Rep. If you have been a Course Rep previously, you'll want to attend our Refresher sessions to build on your experience. You only need to attend one training session.
To find out all you need to know about being a Course Rep, please read through the Handbook and complete the online training. Due to government guidelines on social distancing, the training is online this academic year. If you have been a Course Rep previously, you still need to complete the training to keep yourself updated on your role.
