📢Calling all board-game lovers📢 We’ve teamed up with the D&F team to bring you a Dungeons & Flagons student mixer, we’ve got over 200 board games to choose from – ranging from fantasy, to strategy and loads more. So, bring your friends (or come along and make new ones), grab some food & drink, and enjoy a chilled day of D&F tabletop games. There’s also some exciting prizes to be won throughout the day, so you don’t want to miss out.

We're also unveiling the Nerdy Market. Whether you're on the hunt for quirky dice for your D&F sessions, or unique artwork to liven up your student halls, our curated selection from Manchester's indie traders won't disappoint.

🕺Who can come?

Anyone who’s bought a ticket to this event is welcome, Manchester Met student or not! Bring your mates along or fly solo and make some new friends whilst you’re here.

 

🎪 What’s the Main Hall like?

The Union’s Main Hall is a large space, it’ll be laid out with rows of long tables and bench seating across the centre of the hall.

 

🎤 What type of atmosphere should I expect?

This is a chilled and relaxed environment, the perfect opportunity to socialise and make new friends.

 

🍕 Will there be food and drink available?

The bar will be open from 10:00 – 20:00 for you to buy food and alcoholic or soft drinks. Check out our menus.

 

🥤 Are non-alcohol drinkers welcome?

Of course, everyone’s welcome and there are plenty of non-alcoholic drink options available.

 

📆 Will this event happen regularly?

The all-day D&F event will happen on occasion throughout the year, but we do have a weekly D&F night - every Tuesday at The Union.

 

♿️ Is the event accessible for all?

The Main Hall is situated on the ground floor and is accessible for all. There’ll be Welcome Reps on hand in The Union reception to help you if you need it.
