You may have heard these words from colleagues. Perhaps you have said them yourself. And the same is often said of our other audiences too: trustees, volunteers, stakeholders, politicians, community members, university leaders.

But in a world of overflowing and overwhelming inboxes, perhaps it's more accurate to say, "Students don't read bad emails."

This energising, interactive session offers a refresher on digital engagement best practice. It's designed for any SU professional or elected officer who relies on email as a communication channel, perfect for both beginners and CRM veterans.

You'll discover how to create emails which are opened, read, and actioned. We'll deep-dive into the nuances of subject lines, copywriting, emojis, buttons, and structure, with take-home templates.

Things you'll take away

- Create emails which are opened - finessing subject lines (and preview text) by considering length, copy, and emojis
