From the presenter:
Over summer 2024 I undertook a massive project transitioning an almost complete majority of processes and needs for Student Rep administration to automated processes, and looking for more efficient ways for Reps to book training and engage with the feedback they collect.
After the loss of our dedicated admin support staff, this massively snowballed into our team now using MS Power Automate processes for pretty much every area of Reps and Societies, and it’s transformed the way we’re able to work and support our student leaders.
This session aims to showcase a range of principals and tools with practical applications from our own use-cases to give other Unions the “What” and “How” to start using some of these scary-looking tools, transform their productivity, and get out from behind endless emails and back in front of students.

Staff working in clubs and societies, advice, student reps, democracy, governance, campaigning – anything within membership services across the UK.

- Act of terrorism or any circumstances outside the control of The Union, MMU which may cause the event to be interrupted or cancelled
- CCTV is active for security purposes during the event and visitors may also be filmed or recorded for promotional content
- We may use your email address to specifically contact you about any changes to the event (e.g. rescheduling or cancellation). 11.
