Volunteering can be an amazing way to embed yourself in your community, meet new friends, find new places and a sense of belonging.
If you're staying in Manchester over the Easter break or considering staying over summer, this might be one for you, but everyone is welcome. Volunteering in your community can help you form friendships with your neighbours, learn what’s going on in your area and enjoy wholesome activities, all whilst developing your personal skills and experience to take forward beyond your university career.
Come and meet a range of great organisations who want to let you know about their volunteering opportunities. There are several fabulous community organisations in Manchester, and this fun workshop will help you look in depth at how communities are strengthened and empowered through volunteering and social action. Come along, network and find out if any of these roles are right for you!
