YHA is a Times Top 100 charity that provides volunteering opportunities for young people across England and Wales.
Could you help young people have a summer of adventure they will remember for the rest of their lives? Volunteers have a huge impact on the young people attending our camps. You will have a lot of fun, make many new friends and share some fantastic memories!
Team Leaders provide essential pastoral care to campers and encourage them to make the most of the exciting outdoor challenges on offer (plus you can have a go too!).
This is a great way of gaining valuable work experience, completing a college/university placement or your DofE Gold residential or lending us your skills if you are already experienced.
What skills do I need? Apply for this role if you have previous experience of supporting young people and enjoy being around young people, have good communication and leadership skills, can work well in a team and are flexible and responsible.
What will I gain?
You will gain:-
This is a very special opportunity to make a huge difference to the life of a young person as you encourage them to make the most of the activities on offer and their time away from home.
