Whether you need peace and quiet or a hive of activity to help you focus, there isn’t a right or wrong way to revise and get that work done. We put together a list of some of students’ favourite places to study, both on and off campus.

– Top floor of the Business School – right at the heart of campus, there’s plenty of space to spread out in the Business School, but it’s the top floor that gets your vote as one of the best places to get in the zone.

– The Study at The Union – having just had a refurb, the Study is looking better than ever, and with USB points in the Chairs – you’ll never want to leave even after you’ve finished revising.

– Manchester Central Library – with plenty of spaces to choose to curl up in, from the airy bright modern café on the ground floor to the more formal Reading Room on the first floor. Explore the beautiful city centre library and find your own favourite nook to study.

– Starbucks – there’s plenty in the city, not to mention one in The Union too, but with coffee and Wi-Fi on hand, you can power through and get that revision sorted.

– Portico Library – tucked away just off Mosley Street, step in this beautiful historical building and you’ll feel like you’ve just stepped back in time. Plus it’s above a pub to reward yourself afterwards!
