International Women's Day: Crafts, Quiz & Film Night

It’s International Women's Day and we’re inviting you to come and celebrate with us!

First of all, let your creative juices flow with some arts and crafts - such as canvas painting, glass painting, and jewellery making 🎨

Next you can join in with a super fun quiz, not only will it be really educational but you’ll also be in for the chance to win some exciting prizes.

Finally, finish off the day and get cosy for a screening of ‘Barbie’ 🩷 We’ll keep the snacks coming with free popcorn and candyfloss as you relax after a day of celebrating all the amazing women who surround us.

You’re more than welcome to join us all day long, or if there’s a certain activity that takes your fancy then feel free to pop in. The timings are as follows:

+ 13:30 - Arts & crafts begins and will run throughout the day

+ 15:00 - Quiz

+ 16:00 - ‘Barbie’ screening begins

- Location: The Union, Rooms 6&7

- Date: Thursday 7 March 2024

- Time: 13:30 - 18:00

- No tickets needed, join us all day or pop in and out whenever you like

Entry to this event is free,  but please book so we have an idea of numbers! 

 

🎤 What type of atmosphere should I expect?

Expect a calm, welcoming, wholesome atmosphere as we come together and celebrate one another and all the amazing women in our lives.

 

♿️ Is the event accessible for all?

The Conference Suite is a large space located on the first floor of The Union, accessible via a staircase or lift.

Our reception team will be on hand if you need any assistance.
