A night to celebrate some of Manchester’s greatest hits and artists. We’ll be playing all your faves for you to enjoy, as well as some artists you may not have heard of (you might even discover your newest musical obsession) 🎶

There’ll be music from the likes of Oasis, The Smiths, Stockholm Monsters, A Certain Ratio, The Chameleons and so much more - there’s something for everyone!

Everyone is always welcome, bring your mates or fly solo and make some new ones whilst you're here.

 

🎪 What’s The Sal like?

The Sal is our on-campus pub and is one of Manchester’s most historic. A relaxing space with vintage and homely décor, it even has a secret beer garden. This event will take place in the main pub space on the ground floor, but there’s also another floor you can book for events and socials.

 

🎤 What type of atmosphere should I expect?

Expect a range of tunes that’ll vary from chilled to slightly more energetic and lively. A great opportunity to socialise and interact with one another, in a hearty pub environment.

 

🍕 Will there be food and drink available?

The bar will be open throughout the evening serving alcoholic and soft drinks, last orders half an hour before closing. The kitchen closes at 20:00, so get there early to grab a bite to eat first.

 

🥤 Are non-alcohol drinkers welcome?

Of course, everyone’s welcome and there are plenty of non-alcoholic drink options available.

 

♿️ Is the event accessible for all?

This event is situated on the ground floor of The Sal, there’s level access through the beer garden entrance. Be aware that there are sloped floors throughout the ground level which may be unsuitable for some.
