Welcome to the Biological Sciences Society!
We are a brand-new society and are looking for members! This is an academic society but whether you are a STEM student, have an interest in science or just want to meet some people while trying new things, anyone is welcome. We strive to be an inclusive space.
What to expect -
Look forward to guest speakers, hands-on experiments, socials, group trips and most importantly fun! Being a member will give you unique opportunities to get involved with biology and gain access to experiences are not available elsewhere (its also great thing to put on a CV!). Info about sessions and events will be uploaded to our events page/ instagram in advance so you can pick and choose which sessions interest you the most to help you plan ahead.
Cost -
Annual Membership costs just £5 as we aim to keep things affordable, trips and large events may have an additional cost but will be heavily discounted for members. We will be understanding and flexible where possible.
Where/When? -
Meeting places may change based on the type of session of the week but generally we will aim to meet once a week or every other week - get updates through our Instagram.

Except there is! We get it if you’re not convinced yet, so we would like to offer an opportunity to try out a session or two to see if it’s for you. We understand that you might not want to commit to a membership just yet as we are in our infancy as a society so we offer an alternative.
