Alhamdulillah, this year, the MMU and Salford Islamic Society are taking on a charity hike to raise vital funds for Lebanon’s Emergency Relief Fund. This isn’t just a physical challenge — it’s an opportunity for us, as an ISOC, to come together for something greater than ourselves.
Lebanon has been facing one of the worst humanitarian and economic crises in its history — with families struggling to access food, medicine, shelter and basic necessities. Our goal is to stand with them through action, compassion and community.
Every step we take on this hike represents solidarity, resilience and hope. Together, we can make a real difference for those suffering the effects of poverty, displacement and instability.
Let’s make this more than just a fundraiser. Let’s make it a movement of compassion, teamwork, and impact. Together, we can make every mile count — for humanity, for faith, and for change.
“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”
