The Union always aims to support our students and develop our sustainable practices whilst tackling important issues, and so we would like to introduce our food pantry event.

Tickets are just £3 and you will receive a food parcel containing 10 items - from pasta and noodles, to soup, cereal and snacks, just to name a few.

We are also offering discounted offers on fruit and veg to all students: Any 5 pieces for just £1. This offer is open to all students, but make sure to buy a ticket if you’d also like to receive a food parcel.

What you need to know:

- Location: The Union, Main Hall

- Date: Tuesday 12 March 2024

- Time: 11:00 - 16:00

- Tickets: £3 online, some tickets will also be available on the door

 

🍞 What items are included in the food parcel?

Pasta, soup, beans, cereal bars, crisps, biscuits, and lots of noodles (flavours include curry, veg, beef and garlic).

 

🍏What fruit and veg is on offer?

Fruit: Oranges, apples, bananas

Veg: Onions, potatoes, tomatoes

 

🎟️ Do I need a ticket?

Tickets for this event are £3 and you need a ticket in order to receive a food parcel. Tickets are limited so you can pre-book online now to secure your parcel, there will also be some tickets available on the door.

You don’t need a ticket to shop for the discounted fruit and veg.

 

🕺Who can come?

Everyone is welcome! Just make sure you have your ticket on hand to collect your food parcel.

Head straight to the Main Hall on the ground floor of The Union.

 

♿️ Is the event accessible for all?

The Main Hall is a large open space on the ground floor of our building, it is accessible to all.

Our reception team will be on hand if you need any assistance.
