Mature Student Mixer - Zine Making

📰🖍️Mature Students: Zine Making Social

Take a break from deadlines and get creative at our Mature Students Zine Making Social! Whether you're an experienced artist or haven't picked up a pen since school, this relaxed session is all about self-expression, creativity, and connecting with other mature students.

🤔⁉️What is a zine anyway?

‘Zine’ is derived from ‘fanzine’, a contraction of ‘fan magazine’. Traditionally reproduced using photocopiers or home printers, they can be entirely hand-drawn, typed, or digitally designed. These do-it-yourself publications often embody a homemade aesthetic, taking many forms but are generally a mixture of text and images. Zines can be about anything! Hobbies, collections, cats you’ve seen, fruit stickers you’ve collected, your thoughts on university, dream diaries, the sky is the limit!

There are no rules and no artistic experience required.

Come along to meet fellow mature students, share ideas, enjoy a hot drink, and create something that's completely your own in a welcoming and supportive environment.

🎨All materials will be provided. Free to attend. Just bring yourself and your imagination! ✂️📖🎨
