Fancy a nice, relaxed movie night? Then this is the event for you🎬 Join us in The Union’s Main Hall for cosy night in, grab a drink from the bar and fill yourself with free popcorn, cotton candy and treat bags!

🕺Who can come?

Everyone's welcome, Manchester Met student or not! Bring your mates along or fly solo and make some new friends whilst you’re here.

 

🎪 What’s the Main Hall like?

The Union’s Main Hall is a large space, it’ll be laid out in a theatre-style so you get the whole experience.

 

🎤 What type of atmosphere should I expect?

A very relaxed event, opportunity for you to socialise beforehand but no talking once the film starts!

 

🍕 Will there be food and drink available?

The bar will be open throughout the evening for you to buy alcoholic and soft drinks. There’ll be lots of snacks on offer, including free popcorn and cotton candy.

 

🥤 Are non-alcohol drinkers welcome?

Of course, everyone’s welcome and there are plenty of non-alcoholic drink options available.

 

📆 Will this event happen regularly?

We plan to have movie nights throughout the year, mainly for festive seasons with themed films, such as Halloween and Christmas.

 

♿️ Is the event accessible for all?

The Main Hall is situated on the ground floor and is accessible for all. However, due to large screen and loud speakers, this type of activity may be unsuitable for those with hearing or sight sensitivities.

There’ll be Welcome Reps on hand in The Union reception to help you if you need it.
