A brand-new flagship cultural celebration is coming to the SU this spring. Culture & Conversations Night brings together food, performance, crafts, film, dance, and community storytelling under the theme:
Our Cultures, Our Journeys: At Home, Abroad, and In Between
This event is produced by MMU ACS and Manchester ASOC, with support from the Students’ Union Inclusion Team. Early bird tickets are now available for those who want to secure their place before the full line-up is announced.
Across the building, you’ll be able to explore:
Live performances
Dance workshops
Crafts and cultural games
Short documentaries in our World Cinema Club (by the SU Inclusion Team)
A cultural wear display
Food stalls offering global flavours
A cultural trivia finale with prizes
The final list of performers and activity hosts will be confirmed soon. Early bird tickets guarantee entry regardless of which acts are featured.
This event is open to:
All Manchester students from all cultural backgrounds
Friends and family
You do not need to be part of ACS or ASOC to attend. This night is for the whole Manchester community.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. Cultural attire is encouraged to celebrate heritage, but all clothing choices are welcome.
The SU building is fully accessible. The night is being designed to be inclusive for all.
