Hello, and welcome to the MMU Yoga & Mindfulness Society! 

We are creating a time and space to practice, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Every body and level is welcome. Whether you've been practicing for years, months, or are just looking to try something new; whether you're here to rest your mind, strengthen your legs, or tend to your heart - you are welcome here! 

We will be holding 3 (initially) weekly sessions: one Mindfulness/ Meditation session, one Beginners Level Yoga, and one Intermediate Yoga class.

Mindfulness is the act of being aware, without judgement, of the present moment, so the excersises in this session may look like body scans, journalling, tuning into particular sounds, or simply becoming aware of our breath. 

The research around the benefits of yogic practices continues to grow, so come along, build strength and flexibility, build mental resilience, take a breath, slow donw, and connect to your self. 

People come to yoga for so many different reasons, so, just take what you need, and leave what you don't.
