Details Hide[-]

We're on the lookout for individuals with a knack for computing, particularly those proficient in coding languages and concepts such as algorithms, program constructs, variables, Python, sequences, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with social media, internet safety, and other computing applications will be advantageous. Candidates should possess a passion for the internet and technology, coupled with the patience and joy of assisting children, and the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Joining us as an IT Teacher/Support Assistant offers boundless benefits. It's a chance to acquire new skills that will enhance your resume, connect with like-minded individuals, and boost your self-confidence. More importantly, you'll experience the gratification of making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Our initiative, powered by a computer learning program, is dedicated to improving the prospects and self-worth of children in Salford and Bury. We maintain small class sizes, with no more than 14 students, to ensure personalized support and comprehension. Many of these children lack access to computers at home and their caregivers often do not understand computer programming, which can leave them behind their peers. Our program addresses this gap, offering lessons not typically included in local school curricula.

Classes are scheduled on various days, and while you may need to adapt to a rotating schedule, we strive to accommodate your availability preferences. If you're eager to make a positive impact while gaining hands-on experience, we invite you to join our dynamic team. We're excited to hear from you!
