DON8 IT!

What is it?

‘DON8 IT!’ is a student led project created by Fashion Promotion student with a passion for sustainability, Caitlin Keeble. Caitlin contacted Make a Change to start a donation project with two main incentives, the first, to provide free kitchen items for less fortunate students and the second to reduce waste.

How will it work?

Students can donate their unwanted kitchen items (see list below) which can then be donated during a Free Shop which we’re planning to have during Welcome Week in September. From The Shop, students can pick and take the donation products they might need.

How can students get involved?

Donations are being collected from now until the end of August, so if you’re moving out of halls and have stuff you don’t need, you can drop it off at The Union reception. Before you donate the kitchen items, please ensure that you’ve washed them thoroughly.
