We know Freshers Fair can feel a bit overwhelming, so here’s a quick guide to help you feel prepared and enjoy the day.
👂Sensory Support
- You’ll find two Sensory Stations: one at the entrance (pick up ear defenders, fidget toys, or a guide/map) and one at the exit (to drop things back off).
- Please return anything you’ve borrowed before leaving.
🗺️Layout & Support
- The fair has a one-way system, just follow it round ➡️
- Need to leave quickly? Speak to a staff member in a yellow Union t-shirt and they’ll guide you out
- Toilets are at the back of the hall through the double doors🚻
- Water fountains are in the corridor near the toilets💧
- First Aid is available from Union staff or FGH security⛑️
📅Dates & Times
- The fair runs Tuesday 23 and Wednesday 24 September, 10:00 - 16:00
- Busiest times: 10:00 - 14:30
- Quieter times: after 14:30
- Most people spend around 30 - 60 minutes at the fair
💡Noise & Light
