Holi: Celebrate the Festival of Colour with us 💛

Monday 18-03-2024 - 15:23

Holi, better known by many as the Festival of Colours, is a significant Hindu festival. This day has many meanings - from the celebration of love and the welcoming of spring, to the triumph of good over evil.

Jam-packed with dancing, singing, and of course lots of colour, Holi is celebrated all over the world and is a time for joy, fun and happiness.

Whilst the festival traditionally consists of throwing of coloured powder and dyed water, we’ll be celebrating a little differently here at The Union…

Holi UV Celebrations - 25 March

This is a club night you don’t want to miss - cover yourself in UV pain and dance the night away, with freebies on offer and amazing drinks deals at the bar.

We are collaborating with The Taal Tribe society to bring you this one-time event which is the best way to celebrate Holi right here on campus!

Everyone is invited so make sure to grab a ticket now before it’s too late - just £3.50 for entry, or £6 to also get a free drink of your choice upon arrival 🍺

**Please note that no coloured powder or paint will be thrown at this event due to building regulations**

How ever you choose to celebrate, we hope you have an amazing time full of joy and colour - bring on spring 🌸
