Give It A Go is designed to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and try something new, who knows you might even find your new calling. And better yet, most of the events are free!

+ We’ve teamed up with Cop A Feel to bring you the opportunity to enjoy some delicious cake and educate yourselves on Breast Cancer Awareness.

👙 Bra Swap - Free - 20 October 2023

+ In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, come to The Union to donate your old bra or swap it for a new one.

+ A free yoga session for students who want to get their zen on. There’ll be free tea and coffee to enjoy, as well as an opportunity to make your own ‘stress journal’.

💍 Jewellery Making - Free - 09 November 2023

+ Add some new and unique accessories to your wardrobe in our jewellery making session. A great chance to be creative and meet people with similar interests.

+ Unleash your inner artist or try something new in this pottery painting session, we’ll supply all the materials you need and you can do the rest.

🏓 Digital Detox - Free - 22 November 2023

+ In honour of Men's Mental Health Month, everyone is invited to join our ‘digital detox’. We’re hosting free games and activities such as pool, darts and table tennis for a fun, tech-free evening. There’s even free pizza for you to enjoy as you relax and mingle.

+ To raise awareness for Men's Mental Health Month, we’re hosting an exciting quiz night - with free Domino's Pizza and the chance to win an air fryer, Nutri Bullet or karaoke machine!
