Monday 16-03-2026 - 12:00

St Patricks Day is just around the corner, and Manchester always goes all out to celebrate! Whether you’re looking for live music, cultural events, creative workshops, or something a bit different, there’s plenty happening across the city for students to get involved in.

Boundary: St Patricks’ Pot O’Gold (17 March)

Celebrate St Patrick’s Day right here at The Union with an evening of Irish music, drinks, and great company.

Irish music from 17:00

  • £3.50 Guinness (quite possibly the cheapest in Manchester!)
  • £1.50 Baby Guinness shots
  • The first 50 people from 17:00 will receive a free Baby Guinness shot, so make sure you get there early.

Keep an eye out around The Union and on our socials in the days leading up to the event as we’ll be hiding five golden tickets on campus. If you find one, bring it to Boundary to claim your prize, including a bar tab, Barry’s Tea, and more Irish merch.
