From Tuesday 10 February to Thursday 12 February 2026, some Manchester Met staff who are members of Unison will be taking part in national strike action. This includes colleagues in Technical Services, Student Services, the Library, Administration, Estates and Facilities, and Professional Services. The strike relates to a recent 1.4% national pay offer.

During these three days, some services may run differently than usual, and certain support areas may be busier or have reduced availability.
