Becoming an Events Volunteer

This is an ad hoc role. Events can take place on any day of the week with a vast number taking place during evenings or weekends. Roles can differ depending on the event however duties could include

  • Setting up and dismantling stalls including gazebos and tables with literature and merchandise
  • Be able to talk confidently about the Together Trust and our services
  • Willing to take the initiative
  • Selling merchandise and small amounts of cash handling
  • Supporting challenge event participants
  • Provide feedback to ensure we grow and develop our events
  • Inspire others to support the work of the Together Trust

Desired skills

  • Have an interest or have previously work in events
  • You must be outgoing, confident and comfortable with groups of people
  • Be a team player and enthusiastic whatever the weather!
  • Be committed to upholding the Together Trust Values of Positive, Professional, Passionate and Supportive
