Love For The Streets is a social enterprise which connects students to local homeless charities in Manchester.
Small grassroots charities struggle to engage and recruit students, but they are the ones who need you most!
We partner with these charities and provides a base level of training before you start working with charities. We also make sure you have a Volunteer Mentor throughout your volunteer experience, and we invite you to join our Love For The Streets community - both online and offline!
Our partner charities work with frontline services and provide essential services to Manchesters homeless community - as we have a few different partners we're sure to match you with a chairty to suit your availability and what experience you're looking for!
Great for courses like: social care, health and public care, nursing, humanities
Grassroots homeless charities need your help this summer!
Many volunteers leave the city over summer months, meaning local charities struggle to open their services to support vulnerable people.
Love For The Streets works with a number of grassroots homeless charities who make incredible impact within the community, but often suffer during these months. We connect students to the charities who need you most, based on your availabilities and what experience you want!
Please note: these dates are not fixed, they are flexible. Just let us know your availability and we can work around it.
