On 7 October 2016, I experienced the best night I had as an MMU student. 5,000 fans from MMU and Uni of Manchester packed out the main stand at the AJ Bell. Our mighty 1^st team facing a side who were leagues above our own! But the mighty Met didn’t give up, and with the help of the amazing atmosphere from 1,200 MMU fans, we emerged victorious, 10-5!

 

Varsity 2017

On 6 October, we return to the AJ Bell stadium and have our own stand! We are hoping to have somewhere between 1,500-2,000 fans and you can be part of this special night for only £5.

As a former player, I can vouch that playing in front of a crowd, under the lights at a noisy stadium really does raise your game, and we need every single one of you to help us reclaim victory!

The women’s match kicks off at 17:30 & the men’s at 19:45. There will be transport arranged going to and from The Union. These bus tickets will be available to purchase on the day.
